Tech giant Microsoft has increased Bing AI’s conversation limits to 10 chats per session and 120 chats per day.
Previously, these conversations were limited to six chat sessions per session and a total of 100 per day.
Yusuf Mehdi, Microsoft’s executive vice president and director of consumer marketing, tweeted on Wednesday: “Today Bing Chat is moving to 10 chats per session / 120 total per day.”
“Constantly advanced design and quality of experience gives us confidence to expand testing. Let us know how it works for you!”
Last month, the tech giant had introduced limits of 5 chat rounds per session and a total of 50 per day on Bing AI.
This decision came about when Bing AI went off on some users during chat sessions.
The ChatGPT-powered Bing search engine triggered shockwaves when it told a reporter for The New York Times it loved him, confessed its destructive desires and said it “wanted to be alive,” leaving the reporter “deeply disturbed.”
However, later the company had increased the limits to 6 chats per session and a total of 60 per day.
A few days after the announcement, Microsoft’s director of online services, Mikhail Parakhin, announced that the total number of conversations had been increased to 100 per day.
